backSTORY:  These axles were originally fabricated in Brazil to fit on Bombardier Shoreliner passenger rail cars owned by Metro North in New York. Each wood crate has ‘Lucchini 2134C54644’ stamped on the wood.  While the axles are new, unused, they do have surface rust on the metal as you can see in the pictures. How could you reuse or “repurpose” these train axles?
