IN-HOUSE “repurpose”: Our Texas yard turned into a muddy mess after a stretch of rain, and our forklift was having a tough time getting around. Instead of waiting for the ground to dry out, we laid down a few Expanded Metal Panels to create an instant driving surface. Problem solved. Sometimes the handiest “repurposes” are the ones that keep our own operation rolling.

INBOX: “Felix, I’d like to introduce you to Damon Carson, owner of repurposedMATERIALS. I reached out to Damon because his newsLETTER caught my attention. I told him about your class at Cornell Univ and your level of engagement in diverting waste, and suggested that we talk to you about continuing to enlist students to help us solve this re-use problem. If you’d like to have a quick phone call to see if there’s any possibility of working together that would be wonderful.” – Christina

Our Customers: A multi-store thrift store organization in Tennessee bought a bunch of the Vinyl Basket Trucks. They’re going to use the bins to sort clothing that has been donated. Eric, we appreciate your business.
TIDBIT: It probably comes as no surprise that organizations that do business in the used economy, like this thrift store, also like to purchase used materials and equipment whenever possible for their own operations. I guess we all like to practice what we preach!
