BEFORE: Facebook had a design change that led them to have having 17,000′
(3 1/2 miles) of surplus, unused Fiberglass Electrical Conduit. What did they do? They called repurposedMATERIALS to help!

Your Ideas: “I’ve been getting into geocaching with my kids and honestly, these Plastic Medical Vials would be perfect for it. They’re small, seal up tight, and feel way more official for hiding little log sheets. You could tuck them into tree knots, under rocks, along fence lines… feels like instant treasure hunt setup.” – Sam from our newsLETTER
Alert: Available FREE for walk-in customers at our Colorado warehouse!

Earth Smart: One of our repeat customers is building an “earth home” that works with the land, not against it. Nearly 40 large timber beams from our Arizona yard now support a roof covered in earth for natural insulation and wildfire protection. The rear wall is built from rammed earth packed into recycled tires, with curved concrete formed using mortared soda cans. Snow-fence timber from Colorado finishes the ceiling, while a 12″ PVC pipe was “repurposed” into pump chambers for a greywater reuse system. Jerry, we LOVE what you do!

Second Life: Instead of sending cleared timber to landfills, Transport for NSW has spent over a decade turning it into habitat restoration, community spaces, and heritage preservation projects. The approach boosts biodiversity, protects waterways, and creates real community value, all while reducing waste. It’s a strong reminder that even routine construction materials can be “repurposed” into something far more impactful!

BEFORE: This is 3/4″ galvanized Steel Cable that came out of highway median. Once they remove a section for road repair, the DOT mandates that new cable be re-installed. That means this old cable is in really good shape still.
AFTER: Highway Median Cable “repurposed” as mooring lines for a boat marina in Idaho. Steve, we appreciate your business and your resourcefulness!
